This is a manuscript letter on paper, and is folded as a bifolium. Only one page of the four contains a substantial amount of writing, one other contains a docket title, and two are blank. Below the main body of writing, the document has been signed with approximately twenty names, and there are nine red wax seals along the right edge. One 'signature' appears to be a finger or thumb print.

Transcription:

Know all men by these presents that we the ffeoffices of this land of the long Bridg of Bidford whose names are hereunto subscribed. Due authorize impower appoint and request Daniel Daraiott Abraham Goaring and Lancet Leaches three of the ffeoffices of said long Bridg to contract for the guiding of a quay for ships to lay at this east end of the [illegible] now in building on the Bridg lands aforesaid and what they shall continue out or contract in order for the finishing the laws we will approve of the allow of all such sums of money they shall have occasion to pay for order to this said work or if done by us. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this first day of December anno dom 1692. Signed sealed and delivered inpresents of us
