Actual authorship from Wing.; Probable place of publication from Wing.; Signatures: A-Y⁴ Z² a-b⁴ c².; Includes: "The mystery of the two junto's, Presbyterian and Independent, with some additions", first published separately 1647 and subsequently reissued as a preface to "The history of independency". "The history of independency, with the rise, growth, and practices of that powerfull and restlesse faction" has a separate, dated title page. "An appendix to The history of independency, being a brief description of some few of Argyle's proceedings, before and since he joyned in confederacy with the independent Junto in England: with a parallel betwixt him and Cromwell, and a caveat to all his seduced adherents" has a separate dated title page.; "A list of the names of the members of the House of Commons observing which are officers of the army ... with such summes of money ... as they have given to themselves for service ... against the King and Kingdome.
