Marginalia: annotations in two (?) 15th century hands in Latin on the free endpapers and in the text; annotations in a 17th century hand in Latin on the free endpapers and in the text.
Binding: contemporary Italian morocco over paste boards, covers decorated in blind to a panel design comprising three frames of four fillets; outer panel with runs of four fillets between the corners of the outer and middle frames; middle panel decorated with x-shaped tool enclosing a cross comprising x-shaped tools; sewn on three split alum tawed supports, spine divided into four compartments, each decorated in blind with a frame of four fillets at the perimeter and two runs of four fillets between diagonally opposing corners. Remains of two clasps at the fore-edge of the boards, hinged on the upper boards, brass fittings on the lower board. Loss to leather at the ends of the spine and at the binding supports.
