Abstract

This bond has been engraved in red and yellow ink, with text printed on top in black ink. There is a thick, decorative border, and several signatures visible near the bottom. A ten shillings stamp is present in the top left corner, and there are two rectangular stamps near the bottom. The verso side is mainly text, and has been engraved in red ink. A detailed vignette of a trian on the railway is present. A sheet of coupons are attached, and the coupons have also been engraved in red ink with black text printed on top. Several coupons are missing.

Part Transcription: "Chinese Imperial Railway, Five per cent. Gold Loan for £1,500,000 Sterling. Canton-Kowloon Railway. ... Countersigned for identification: for The British and Chinese Corporation Limited, London, 2nd December, 1907. [blank] Director."
