Abstract

This bond has been engraved in red ink, with text printed on top in black ink. There is a thick, decorative border, and several signatures visible near the bottom. A two pounds stamp is present in the top right corner, and there are two rectangular stamps near the bottom. There is a vignette of a train at the top. The verso side is mainly text, and has been engraved in red ink, with a vignette of a train. A sheet of coupons are folded toward the verso side and the coupons have been engraved in red ink with black text printed on top. Several coupons have been removed, and others have been attached with tape.

Part Transcription: "The Imperial Chinese Government, 5% Hukuang Railways Sinking Fund Gold Loan of 1911. ... Countersigned for identification on behalf of the Banque de L'Indo-Chine in Paris. [blank]."
