This bond has been engraved on watermarked paper in red ink, with text printed on top in black ink. There is a thick, monumental border, and several signatures visible near the bottom. A black stamp is present on the left side, near an embossed stamp, and there are several rectangular stamps near the bottom. The verso side is mainly text, and there is a signature at the bottom. Two coupons have been attached to the verso side with a staple. The coupons have also been engraved in red ink with black text printed on top. There is an embossed stamp on the coupons.

Part Transcription: "Gouvernement Impial de Chine, Emprunt Chinois, 5% or 1903 ... Vu pour controle: Par dation de la Compagnie Générale de Chemins de fer et de Tramways en Chine, [blank]."
