No. 477087 Whereas the trustees for the time being of the Somerset elms house at the Proxfield in the County of Mills hath paid the sum of three pounds seventeen shillings to the society of the SUN FIRE-OFFICE in London and has agreed to pay, or cause to be paid, to them, and their said Office, the sum of three pounds seventeen shillings on the twenty fifth of March 1784 and the like sum of three pounds seventeen shillings yearly on the twenty fifth of March during the continuance of this policy for Insurance from loss or damage by fire on the said Elms House all under house and offices under on roof in the house of John Andrews Parmerbids and titled not exceeding one hundred and seventy pounds granary only [illegible] bids timber and titled col exceeding thirty pounds the following thatthebarn stable and gatehouse under one roof separate col exceeding on thousand pounds barn and stable only separates col exceeding fifty pounds each house and offices under one roof situate at Cherrington in said county [illegible] police barns [illegible] col exceeding eighty pounds barns only separate not exceeding ninety pounds barns and stables adjoining and exceeding on hundred pounds gate house only separate col exceeding thirty pounds house and offices under one roof at Hewish in the house only assured [illegible] of John Reeves [blank] exceeding on hundred and thirty pounds barn gatehouse and stable under on roof separate and exceeding on hundred and seventy pounds two stables only under county aforesaid in the house of James Narwichs col exceeding one hundred and fifty pounds barn only [blank] and exceeding sixty pounds barn stable and gatehouse all under one rood separate and exceeding ninety pounds. Now know the, that from the date of the present and so long as the said trustees cause to be paid the said sum of three pounds seventeen shillings and the times and place aforesaid; and the trustees per actum,[illegible] of the said society, for the time being, shall agree to accept the same, the stock and fund of the said society shall be subject and liable to pay to the said trustees their executors, administrators and the assigns all such their damage and lots which they the said trustees shall suffer by fire, not exceeding the sum of two thousand pounds, according to the exact tenor of their printed proposals, dated October the tenth, 1782, and of the act of parliament, of the 22nd of GEORGE the third, for charging a duty on person whole property shall be insures against loss by fire. In witness whereof, we (three of the trustees or acting members of or the said society) have hereunto set our hands and seals, the first day of May 1783. Signed and sealed (being stampt according to act of parliament) in the presence of us
