This loan obligation has been printed on parchment, with three angraved images above the main body of text. The engraved piece to the top left and right are both the Medici seal, and the central image is the Medici crest. Several section shave been filled out by haand, and there are signatures visible. Near the bottom left of the loan obligation is the paper seal of the Medici family.

Part Transcription: "Noi Protettori, Deputati, & Amministratori del Nuovo Monte Sussidio Vacabile della Città di Firenze, eretto d'ordine del Sereniss. Gran Duca di Tuscana nostro Signore, per Provvisione ottenuta nell'Amplissimo Senato de'Qarant'otto dì 4. Luglio 1692. ... Et in sede abbiamo fatto la presente, quale farà  firmata da uno di Noi Preotettorie soscritta dal nostro Canc. e figillata con il solito di d. Monte. Data in Firenze nella nostra solita Residenza questo dì [blank]."
