Epistle dedicatory signed: Tho. Milles. The title page is engraved and signed: Renold Elstracke sculp: The first section is a translation of: Glover, Robert. Nobilitas politica vel civilis. Leaves A1 and 2V8 are blank. Only some copies have pages [242-288]: "A catalogue of the kings of Scotland". Cf. STC. Includes numerous sections each with separate dated title page. "A catalogue of the kinges of England" begins new pagination on 2A1r. First p. 99 misnumbered 97. Page 493 (3S4r) is frequently mutilated to remove reference to Charles Blount's natural progeny. With a final leaf containing two columns of errata. Variant: this leaf and its conjugate in an earlier setting with a shorter errata list in three columns. Library's copy wants "A catalogue of the kings of Scotland" as well as the first blank leaf; errata in earlier setting (3 columns); Page 493 has mutilated text supplied in ms; annotations in early and later hands passim; armorial stamps in gilt on covers
