Abstract
One share printed on paper with two signatures present near the bottom. There is a border of two lines along the top and bottom edges, and the left side has a sidepiece with the name of the company printed perpendicular to the main body of text. The embossed seal of the company in the lower left corner.
Description
Transcripton:
No. Fifty dollars each share. This is to certify, that the commonwealth of Pennsylvania is entitled to one share in the capital or joint stock of the president, managers and company of the centre Turnpike Road, leading from Reading to Sunbury. Transferable only by proper authority, duly constituted in the presence of the president or treasurer. Witness the seal of the corporation, the 12th June, 1821.
